Who Are We?

I’m in the final year of a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Systems, information technology track, in Namur, Belgium. I built STUD’IN because I was living the problem: finding a room, reselling textbooks, sharing a ride — every need in a different place, and never any certainty that the person on the other side was a student.

The hard part wasn’t the code, it was deciding what not to build. I set one rule that holds everything else together: every account is verified through its school email address. That rule cost me a directory of 318 Belgian institutions to compile and keep current — universities, university colleges, art schools, adult education, provincial schools and IFAPME.

I developed the platform on my own, from the website to the mobile app, with Alice, the built-in assistant. The site has been online since 19 August 2026. I’m starting from Namur, where I study: the goal isn’t to move fast everywhere, but to be genuinely useful in one city before aiming at another.
